Training
No. Our programme suits every level. We use an individualised group format: even in a group session, the difficulty is set to your current skills, so complete beginners and advanced artists can train together safely.
Silks, hoop, straps, hammock, net, sphere, rings, loops and rope. We also have an electric winch system for safe, progressive work. You can focus on one apparatus or explore several — the programme is built around your goals.
Fitted sportswear that covers the backs of the knees and the armpits, and a water bottle. All apparatus, mats and rigging are provided.
There is no upper age limit, as long as your general health allows physical activity and aerial training. The camp is designed for adults; teenagers from 14 are welcome when a parent stays with them at the castle. Our regular kids classes start from 6 years old.
Yes. If you are preparing for a performance or a competition, we can add a dedicated circus choreography lesson to your training plan for an additional fee.
The camp
Your room, ten coached sessions across five days, self-practice access, a weekly progress review, a professional photoshoot inside the castle, an Individual Growth Roadmap and the Ballet for Aerialists masterclass. Full details are on the camp page.
The standard week runs Sunday to Sunday. Sunday is check-in and check-out day, training runs Monday to Friday, and Saturday is open for self-practice, trampoline or an outdoor photoshoot. Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 12:00.
Often yes. The training programme is built around Sunday arrivals, but we can accommodate midweek check-in when we have availability. Tell us your exact dates and preferred room type and we will confirm what we can do.
It lets you secure your spot and your rate without choosing an arrival date yet. Your deposit is held in our system, and you pick your check-in Sunday later — any time between 1 January and 31 December 2027. When you are ready we check availability for your chosen dates and, if they are full, offer alternatives.
Yes. A non-training guest sharing your room pays 50% of the standard camp rate and enjoys the accommodation and the castle while you train. Couples usually take a private room with a king-size bed, or a twin room with two separate beds.
Yes. We are primarily a retreat centre, but our regular classes and private sessions are open to aerialists staying elsewhere on the island.
Staying with us
A shared 4-bed dorm (female only), twin rooms and private rooms. Every room has air conditioning, a private or shared bathroom depending on type, Wi-Fi, fresh towels and bed linen. No, and that is deliberate — Ubud's food scene is one of the best in Bali and we would rather you explore it. Cafés and restaurants are within walking distance, delivery services reach the castle door, and there is a shared kitchen on site for vegetarian cooking.
You fly into Denpasar (DPS). We can arrange a transfer directly to the castle: 500,000 IDR one way, or 1,000,000 IDR return. Just tell us your flight details when you book.
Jl. Pura Gunung Sari Gang 1 No. 4, Banjar Ambengan, Peliatan, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali 80571 — a quiet street in the Peliatan area, within walking distance of central Ubud. Open in Google Maps.
